MDM Bank today named Sergei Timofeev to replace Igor Kim as head of Russia’s second-biggest private lender

Timofeev spent eight years working in senior positions at MDM Bank with experience gained in the Far East and the Urals.  He joined MDM in 2001 as a branch manager in Vladivostock.

MDM Bank was founded through the merger of MDM Bank and URSA Bank, which was concluded in August 2009. It has about three million retail customers, more than 37 500 clients to small and medium businesses and 27,500 corporate customers.

Kim was the founder of Ursa Bank and then the chief executive of the combined group.
