Fierce rivals Renaissance Capital and Troika Dialog have shared top billing at the Institutional Investor All Russian Research awards for the first time.
For Rencap, the US magazine said it marked the seventh appearance in the top slot but the first time it has shared the podium with Troika. Each firm saw 13 of its analysts tapped for the team.
Evgeny Gavrilenkov, Troika Dialog’s chief economist, Kingsmill Bond, chief strategist, Mikhail Stiskin, metals & mining analyst and Oleg Maximov, Oil & Gas analyst, each placed best in field for their research offering.
Deutsche, with seven analysts on the team, holds steady in third.
VTB Capital jumps from seventh last year number fourth after tripling its number of positions to six.
