Igor Kim is going to resign as chief executive of Russia's MDM Bank, Russian business daily Vedomosti said.
Kim took charge of MDM after the latter merged with Ursa Bank last year. The banker was Ursa's chief owner. Under an agreement with MDM's main shareholder, Sergei Popov, Kim was to step down as chief executive of the unified bank a while after the merger.
Kim remains a co-owner of various other banks and companies after the MDM-Ursa deal.
Oleg Vyugin chairs the board of the bank's holding company and the former MDM CEO Igor Kuzin is chief executive of the holding company
MDM Bank was founded in December 1993 while Ursa was established three years prior.
